J series “Last Friends” OST - Prisoner of Love by Utada Hikaru

I first heard this song from my old iPhone’s music (darn, i miss it!) . I would say I love this song!

Anyway, the drama is starred by Ueno Juri, Nagasawa Masami and Nishikido. I haven’t watched it yet, but it tackles a complicated issues on relationships.

Michiru, a naive girl finds herself a victim of domestic violence when she started to co habitate with her bf. Ruka, her childhood friend has always been in love with her, finds herself as “prisoner” of the person she pretends to be and her true feelings. Takeru is a hair and makeup artist finds himself attracted to Ruka but has a phobia of sex as a result of past trauma.

Together, they become housemates. Michiru learns to defend herself, gain control on her life and depend on her pillar of strength - her last friends.
